Archaeology of the Southwest, Third Edition: Linda S. Cordell - Missing Text

if anyone out there has read Archaeology of the Southwest, Third Edition by Linda S. Cordell, they may have noticed some missing text on page 174-175.

page 174 ends with,
"He was particularly impressed by the potential abun-"
and page 175 begins with,
"poverished environment of the San Juan Basin, the setting for Shabik'eschee Village."

i e-mailed the publisher, left coast press, inc., yesterday to ask them if they could fill me in on the missing text and lo and behold, yaaaay, i promptly received an answer. apparently, a line of text was somehow chopped from chapter 6.

so without further ado, here for all concerned is that missing text. ready?
He was particularly impressed by the potential abundance of piƱon nuts there. He contrasted this situation with the relatively impoverished environment of the San Juan Basin, the setting for Shabik’eschee Village.
and there you have it. mystery solved.
thank you to the kind folks at Left Coast Press, Inc. for their help.
